Founded in 2016 by Sandra Sandor, Nanushka is a womenswear, menswear and accessories label that meshes material innovation to bring forward the brand’s vision of responsible luxury.

A signature style of confident ease and subtle femininity was evident from the first collection. Where East meets West, the brand draws inspiration from the spiritual journey through cultures and time, effortlessly combining function with flair.

Through Sandor’s dedication to responsible production, Nanushka delivers a modern, versatile, day to night wardrobe for the modern bohemian with the aim of creating a new informal form of beauty.

This season is inspired by designer Sandra Sandor’s upbringing in Budapest and explores the creative potential of balance, built around surprising opposites in celebration of harmony.

In contrasting elements of shape and form - elevated materials meet traditional hand-crafted techniques utilised on classic, relaxed silhouettes while bold colours run daringly through the collection.

Titled Material Forms, this collection explores the unconventional materials associated with the modernist movement Arte Povera ('Poor Art').

Playfulness is clear. Of comforting shapes and exclusive fabrics, bolder, striking shapes are set against simple silhouettes.

Traditional Hungarian cut-out shapes are interpreted as modern geometrics, and vibrant hues add energetic pops of colour to the brand's naturalistic palette.

"I considered how the artistic potential of a piece of clothing could be redefined be using a varied range of materials to challenge the creative capacity of design." - Sandra Sandor, Nanushka Creative Director
