“The Bird & Knoll woman seeks pared-back sophistication and assured femininity but with a playful nod to travel through colour and details. We immerse ourselves in our creative mood-boards and try to infuse our designs with the feeling and romance of walking down a Puglian alleyway, or the sensation of the sun on your arms in Mexico, the scent of Bougainvillea in Tulum or Greece - A sensory and tactile realisation of our inspirations and adventures. There is a lot of us in her - she has a multi-faceted life and her statement needs to be versatile, but with flourishes of romantic sensibility.” – Natalie Knoll and Macayla Chapman.

With a considered nod to elegant functionality, this season sees the recognition of a collective desire to return to “dressing up” and a more glamorous way of life.

“We wanted to harmonise artistic gestures with the clarity of design but still maintain a sense of playfulness.” says Macayla Chapman, Bird & Knoll’s creative director.

A purposeful curation of classic, re-imagined, new and considered silhouettes are saturated in opulent colours with the familiar romantic flourishes.

A colour palette evocative of spring languorously blossoming into summer accompanied by signature fabrications like the brand’s signature cottons.

Inverted box pleats ease into gentle flowing skirts while stitch detailing accentuates flattering necklines - key details that reframe travel and the wardrobe that we want to wear while doing it with a sense of feminine ease and comfort.
