About Proenza Schouler White Label, New York

Proenza Schouler is a New York based womenswear and accessories brand founded in 2002 by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. Defined by its fusion of craftsmanship and attention to detail with a sense of refined ease. Inspiration drawn from contemporary art and youth culture is combined with an emphasis on tailoring and the use of custom developed fabrics.

Proenza Schouler has won five CFDA awards and played an important role in reinvigorating American fashion. Awarded with the inaugural CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2004, the emerging brand was established as a leading talent in the industry.

In 2017, the brand’s secondary line, Proenza Schouler White Label was launched. White Label derives much of its language from elements found throughout the history of the main line but rendered in a more casual, accessible way.

A diffusion line of laid-back essentials – it is the Proenza Schouler style transformed quieter, intimate, and more wearable for everyday living.

This season, made for the intelligent women of today, introduces urban clothes with the modern incorporation of frivolous elements.

Think subtle textures and understated details on a thoughtful, balanced palette of neutral tones and bolder hues.

Intelligence and urbanity is explored through the silhouette - showcasing a play on softer, body-skimming shapes that allow for maximized comfort and functionality.
