Bird & Knoll creates seasonal collections that pay homage to the laissez-faire attitude of the co-founders’ coastal lifestyles. Pieces are designed to flow easily from vacation to everyday - feminine luxury with multi-tasking functionality.
“The Bird & Knoll woman seeks pared-back sophistication and assured femininity but with a playful nod to travel through colour and details. We immerse ourselves in our creative mood-boards and try to infuse our designs with the feeling and romance of walking down a Puglian alleyway, or the sensation of the sun on your arms in Mexico, the scent of Bougainvillea in Tulum or Greece - A sensory and tactile realisation of our inspirations and adventures. There is a lot of us in her - she has a multi-faceted life and her statement needs to be versatile, but with flourishes of romantic sensibility.”
– Natalie Knoll and Macayla Chapman.
This dreamy brand's Resort 2022 collection is an intoxicating infusion of summer vignettes - memories of cherry-stained lips, sun-kissed shoulders and salt-tinged skin whimsically translated into an intuitive embrace of effortlessly fluid layers, organic shapes and artisanal details
In collaboration with New Zealand artist Lucy Gill, this collection features an exclusive bold and sumptuous print.
With her paintings having been shown at Sanderson Contemporary Art Gallery and The Vivian Gallery in Auckland, Lucy’s painting practice is focused around creating abstract oil paintings inspired by our elusive and immersive thought patterns.
Titled Arcadian Oasis - her art for Bird & Knoll Resort 2022 portrays wide open spaces filled with botanic elements, translucent luminous strokes of fresh pale blue floating alongside opaque petals of gentle rose, hand painted tulips and cascading sand forms.
Accompanied by the relaxed silhouettes and timeless styles that evoke femininity and timeless luxury, discover pieces of a playful vacation state-of-mind. Inspired by wanderlust and designed to flow.
Immerse yourself into a serene escape, and dive into a dreamy and easy-wearing wardrobe for the season.
